jodisjewelry @kcford24 I know, I hated to say anything... But hey, we all have our weak spots. I have NO sense of time... I can be out somewhere for hours and think I've been gone for 10 minutes. And trying to make my dr apprs on time... That is just hell!! I've finally asked many of them to write on my appointment card like 15-30 minutes ahead of time just so I can make it. Lol😜😝😫 😘😘😘

I finally broke down n bought a new phn bc my old one took horrible pics... IE blurry pics in my closet. So I got the iPhone 6 + with 128 fb memory. I won't need it anytime soon but 5 yrs from now I will be glad I got it. It's gonna take that long to figure out all the features on it

Where we end up will depend on where she decides to go to either Grad School or Med School. She hasn't decided which one yet.

lynda721 @candykissa143 She is going to Penn State. She got into their School of Nursing. The only take 140 new students a year. I'm so proud of her! We are leaving Thursday to take her down to PA. But, she already knows she is going to continue after she gets her RN. She is either going to go to Med School or Grad School after Penn.

I remember that's what my mom did when I went to school. She was all about me and I never knew she cried for three straight hours until much later. I will share one thing she did that meant the world to me for the first few weeks...she sent me care pkgs and never told me they were coming and cards! It was always awesome to get unexpected ma as a freshman.

lynda721 @onejewell So "tagging" is simply sharing a listing (with or without a comment). To tag someone is simply going into a listing, hitting the "comment" option, typing the closet name(s) that you want to share the listing with, entering your comment (if you want to comment) and posting once you are done. For example, I just "Mass Tagged" a group of my posh friends on your listing, and wrote a comment for them to say hello to you. That will appear in each person's feed.

crfrief @lhaag721 Human Development in the college of health and human development. Funny cause I originally was going to go for nursing but it is a tough major. I know it's one of the hardest to get into at psu! I'm sure your daughter is going to have no trouble getting a job after graduating with a Penn state nursing degree 😀

lynda721 @crfrief That's the plan. You are right about it being a tough major. They only take 140 students into the program each year. Hannah was always studying. And it is stressful. She plans to take a gap year after getting her BS RN and then go to Med School. Many Congratulations to you! It must feel so surreal that at this time next year, you'll have your degree after so many years of hard work!

shoe_enchantres @lhaag721 Penn State is my daughters 1st choice school. Her dream since she was 4 years old is to be a vet & Penn has one of the best pre-vet programs in the country. We're tentatively planning a visit for end of this month (we're in California so there's some plans to be made first😃). We live in Connecticut, so it's a 5 1/2 hr drive to Penn State. She won't be home again until Thanksgiving. I will miss her; but I am so proud of her and her achievements. lynda721 @lemurianmuse Hi Ginny! Yes they do! They only take 140 students a year into their Nursing program and my daughter is one of thousands of applicants that got in. I'm so proud of her. She just left today to go back and begin her sophomore year and plans to go to grad school afterwards as well. We live in Connecticut so it is a 5 1/2 hr drive (on a good day) to get there. So she doesn't get home often. But, she loves it there! Thanks for saying hello. Happy Poshing! 😊💕

britishsusan I completely understand where you're coming from. My daughter is PSU Alum ('14 college of education ). One of the best public schools in the nation. Also one of the most costly ( especially for out of staters like my family ). Save,save,save you can never save enough. Think of the bill as an investment in your daughter's future. Makes writing the checks or co-signing a loan a whole lot easier to swallow. Best of luck to you both. WE ARE!!!

You'd be very surprised how many people wouldn't be brave enough to do what you've done as a single parent .I get the financials and I respect the decisions of others. You have to do what you feel is right for you and your child. I have 2 other children ( 1 a 3rd year student at a private out of state college ) and another (aged 15). It's tough. Chin up.

lynda721 @britishsusan You are certainly correct there! Even some of my family doesn't understand why she chose PSU due of the cost. They say she could have gone to a cheaper school. She is in the Nursing program; they only take 140 students a year in that program. She is already getting opportunities that she would have never gotten in a small school which doesn't have such a strong academic reputation & the strongest alumni in the country.

lynda721 @suelee16 Congratulations! Plus there are sooo many other expenses besides the tuition! My daughter also rows Crew at Penn State which is a "club team". That means that the university provides very little financial assistance to them, so they get very little assistance from PSU. I don't know how far your girls are/will be going to school from home but, for us Penn State is a 5.5 hour drive. To get home takes a Mega Bus to NYC then a train CT. That's not cheap either! 😉💕

tannyaustin She is 25 she graduated 2 years ago, she was 23. Somewhere along the way it took an extra year because she didn't know at first she wanted to get into the nursing program. She went to a Catholic College and at graduation oMG the priest Blessed each student's hands individually! We had no idea. I was brought to tears seeig that along with when they spoke about how "caring and capable" their HANDS are!

tannyaustin To me they're always my little girls hands! I recently went to a doctor who I didn't know but he works with her. He said when he was in school and he saw the nurses exams he was baffled. Three answers could all be correct but they only want one! Said he wouldnt wanna be a nurse! It is actually a fact that of all college degrees nursing has the most exams given and highest expectations demanded during their college career!

lynda721 @shiloh077 I don't know if other schools do this but now that she is a Junior the tuition goes up for the last two years. Even with Financial Aid and Scholarships; it's a huge expense. She's going to have to work for a couple of years before she goes back to Grad School for her APRN.

Because my mom was a single mom making under 75K per year, I got a full ride undergrad scholarship to a great Ivy which I graduated from and went on to complete 2 yrs of Med school. I took the gap years because my mom was struggling financially and emotionally. But I definitely want to go back and finish. Posh $$ helps but seems like it's grown so much in the last year or so. Much more competition. I'm doing okay, but this week has been really slow for me 😬

The surgeries I just went through were on my foot. I have had 11 surgeries in under 3 years and I have another one at the end of August.

lynda721 @tweisy It's a 5 1/2 hour Drive to the Main Campus in University Park. Penn State always begins their semesters earlier than all of her friend's schools. She is going back on August 18th. It seems like she just got home! I'm going to miss her so much! She will be doing her Nursing Clinical's this year, so she will be in Hershey, PA. Her Apartment is right next door to the Hershey Medical Center which is nice.

lynda721 Of course I had to fix them (there’s a few hours down the drain) and it happened again. 3 out of 4 mornings last week it happened. Now it is happening during the day too. I spend the early part of my day listing, answering questions and sharing. It happened again tonight. I literally put my phone down to go eat something for dinner and less than an hour later the sequence is all screwed up again.

grace4d @lhaag721 not me yet - but I’m tied up during the day not sharing as much. I have noticed when I share my listings (like all jewelry) some are actually missing! Then I use another device and they are there. Very odd. I’ll keep an eye out 4 this one too. & email posh too. Thx, pff, 4 always being on top of posh issues! Ur awesome!🌻💜🌻

lovenushuz @lhaag721 I just had a Christmas tank show up under just listed...I didn’t re-list I have had the same offer to likers on 2 Booties for over 1 year And my closet is always out of sequence. I gave up ❤️ ❤️❤️ Cured my OCD fo sure 🙌🙌🙌

shopofthemoment @lhaag721 “sequence” is a misnomer. I have noticed that there is now a lag on listings that are shared. After I share a bunch of listings I rescroll by “just shared” and there are always 1-2 listings that I just shared which have not yet updated. The rest of the “organizing” is a waste of time. Just keep sharing and when you’re done put a few of your best listings at the top. That will save you hours of nonsense 💋

shopofthemoment @lhaag721 I doubt it’s intentional. It’s likely more a function of slower internet due to the amount of live streaming and zooming that is happening everywhere all over the world simultaneously now.

lynda721 @shopofthemoment The amounts of corrupt and old unused closets that are floating in the App is causing a mess when trying to follow people. I have never used a boy but, if I go into a closet to follow blues I see a ton of “bad” accounts. They are really noticeable. The easiest ones to see are the ones whose closets name are just a random bunch of letters that do not make a word. I wish Poshmark would somehow filter closets not only by name but by create date.

lynda721 @shopofthemoment There are tens of thousands of closets that were created and never used again. So that just adds more junk for the Bots to grab. They could very easily sort closets by create date and date of last activity and delete all of the inactive closets.
