Meet Ichabod! Ichabod25 is an odd name to pick so I thought I'd explain..... eventually! Ichabod is my dear cat (third oldest of my brood) and he is full of personality. I adopted him as my gangly Halloween kitten three years ago. And keeping to my belief that cats need unique names, decided Ichabod was perfect! How many Ichabods do you know?! Well, he grew, and grew. At the time I created my closet he weighed in at 25lbs, hence Ichabod25. Ichabod is currently at 21 lbs and has his own Insta.

His name is Ginger Snap. I can pet him, he purrs and rubs my legs. I don't think he will ever be an inside cat.

There are so many kitties that need homes! Do you think Ginger Snap would move in if there weren't two already living with you? What are their names? I have 3 others; Godfrey is 17, Pippa is 13 and Cotton (Ichabod's little buddy) is 1 1/2.

lori_39 @ichabod25 You do have a brood❤️. I would have more, but my husband said 2 was enough.😫 Cooper is my Siamese and Skabenga is a Bengal. They're both 8. Only a few weeks apart. Ginger Snap is a long haired orange cat. We neutered him in April and he finally came back last month and hasn't left. He's about 1-2 years old. I've got a winter shelter for him. I think he's a bit too wild to come inside.

ichabod25 @lori_39 Thank you! They each have a story! He's the one in the third picture. It's hard to tell what he's thinking, but he sometimes goes after Ichabod and just him. Pippa goes after Godfrey and Godfrey goes after Pippa. Cotton just wants everyone's food. Godfrey had gone downhill this last year to year and a half. He's stone deaf and a little senile.

ichabod25 @lori_39 Plus we had to say goodbye to Watson, his life long buddy in May of 2016. I think he misses him. That's why I adopted Cotton for Ichabod, so he'd have that bond. Cotton is actually a buff tiger. I named him after Cotton Mather, I thought he needed a period name like Ichabod. He has a white mouth, a cotton mouth!

ichabod25 @mrsalliexo I don't want to clutter your page explaining how it sounds bad but isn't. I found out four years ago while training for a marathon that I have a sixth lumbar vertebra. Actually half of one, the other half is fused into my sacrum the way it should have be. It's not a big deal, I have one super flexible hip. The problem is that no one noticed until I was complaining of hip pain. The second doctor took X-rays and eventually did an MRI. I had already run 3 half marathons,

ichabod25 @mrsalliexo fallen off horses so many times I lost track, and who knows what else with yoga and heavy lifting, so there were already three bulging disks and a laminar tear. I've had 4 injections and 2 Toradol injections when I threw things out BAD. But as long as a keep my core and bum strong, everything is kept in alignment. Hunched over a desk studying doesn't help much though 😉

lori_39 @ichabod25 Aww, I hope Godfrey stays strong.🙏 Cotton Mather! I would not have guessed that. I've grown up with Siamese so we my grumpy old Siamese kitty died, I had to get another. Cooper is named after Anderson Cooper. Skabenga is a special needs kitty. He has a grade 4 heart murmur and takes mess twice a day. But he's doing great.

lori_39 @ichabod25 Skabenga is a Swahili word that means houligan. And that he is! I'll keep the outside heated house in mind for Ginger Snap. I rescued 3 kittens that were outside under our front window last December. That was an experience but they were fostered and adopted. Their mama has been spayed and we saw her last week. I'm pretty sure she is also Ginger's mom.

lori_39 @ichabod25 As a matter of fact I have been to South Africa twice. My husband is from there. He came up with the name after I accidentally said Benga instead of Bengal. My grumpy old Siamese passed away right before we got these guys, so it's been awhile, but his photo is still my screen saver on my phone.

ichabod25 @lori_39 It just sucks losing pets. I adopted Ichabod when I realized how old my two boys were. I thought to myself, you better adopt a kitten to help you through losing them so you don't get stuck in the grief. I swore I'd never have another pet after losing my childhood dog, but then a little kitten named "Black Beauty" (not joking) chose me while I was in a pet store.

But I can return that. I don't know... maybe she'll post measurements soon. I don't think it will sell out overnight.

lori_39 @ichabod25 The cardigan is nice, it's warm, but it doesn't shed. It's not as soft as some of the others, though. I did see Ann's tees. Did you get any? Scoop necks work better on me than v necks, so I didn't get any. I have looked at the cardigan in Susan's closet a couple times, but I'm trying to resist - the soft fuzzy one. Not the really long one.

ichabod25 @lori_39 Lol! I bought my lamp through Amazon! 😂 Hey, if they want to wage war against Wally World, I'm for it 💪🏻 I'm using the Verilux Happy Light Liberty ($36.95) right now. I have an older one with two settings, but this one is small and works just fine. You turn it on between 8-9:00 in the morning for awhile and between 5-6:00 at night and it helps trick your body into thinking it's not winter. And thank you!

With dresses it seems like you have to jump when you like one because when it comes time to needing one, theres nothing! 😂 It was a pretty bad offer, but what can you do 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'm glad you haven't in a while especially after purse lady, geesh! No, I won’t check out till November because of the other two sweaters. They aren’t supposed to be in until the 9th. Why don’t you think the color will look right on you? lori_39 @ichabod25 I have too many gray sweaters, otherwise I would have gotten the gray cardigan and I have another navy one from Allie. I think the Gucci will be fine. I wear more black and I think that color will look good with black. Reds and browns are not the best color for my skin tone so that was my only hesitation.

ichabod25 @lori_39 Oh! How wonderful! Ginger Snap will sure appreciate his new house, especially with no roommates! Yeah, I couldn’t justify more grey. I think the Gucci will look great with black and denim. I honestly never stopped to think if it would look good on me 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m bummed I missed Allie’s light grey/blue version. ichabod25 @lori_39 The cardigan?! Yay!! Yes, I reserved the rose and of course..... the grey 😂 I really like the navy too! But.... 💸💸 I have seen the rise in person and it’s a beautiful color. I ordered a cardigan from an online boutique (different style though) and returned it reluctantly. (Haha you’re totally going to think Elmo now 🤣)

ichabod25 @lori_39 I found the silver one on Amazon but it’s $62 (it’s in my shopping cart). The rose colored one was at Impressions, but I’m only finding navy now. They called it Snowfall Softness Chenille Cardigan in Rustic Rose (according to my account). They send restock alerts if you sign up. Try searching for it, it might pop up. The other one I shop is Lush Lime. Both have some cute stuff.

It’s the first time ever that I didn’t put our hotel room thermostat on incinerate.🤣 Chicago was great. We went to a blues club, the Art Institute, and walked along the lake. Oh, and shopped a little too.😉

ichabod25 @11thstreet Hi Kristin, thankfully our vet thought a round of antibiotics might help and he is on the mend. He had an upper respiratory infection which normally isn't a big deal but he stopped eating. Probably since he couldn't smell the food. I steamed him and was able to get some food in him the first night.

ichabod25 @audracook1115 Hi! They are my addiction 🙈 For the Align II's Military Green, Slate and Greyvy are the colors that are hardest to find/most sought after. I can't really speak for the originals because I definitely found the II's to be an improvement in terms of how well they wear. I only have a couple pairs of black and navy in the originals and didn't really start collecting them until the second version came out.
