Lovely Monique Lhuillier wedding dress 🥰 Style name, ‘Monet’. Dresss is meticulously constructed with French Alencon Lace in ‘Allover Roses’ and double lined. Color is noted as light cream. Bones are built into the bodice, and all buttons, the hook-and-eye and back zipper in perfect working condition. The circumference of the lace as measured all the way around the bottom hem is 220 in. The natural waist on lining measures ~14” and with the lace lain over the top it snugs up to ~12”. From the top to the floor it measures 56.5”. Came as size 8 from ML, but measures as a 4 in waist and hip, I had to go up two sizes bc my bust is a 32G (*listing Wacoal bra worn with dress). I wore it once for about 6 hours. It was professionally cleaned and preserved and the dress held up well. I am NOT however, very happy with the thoroughness with which it was cleaned. The liner it was obviously neglected in the process and it also seems like yellowing in the armpit area (see photos) would’ve been easy to get out (my go-to Dr. Bronner’s Pure Castile) but clearly it wasn’t. I feel certain I would be able to remove a great deal of what was left behind if a buyer so chose that option; despite it needing a dry cleaning I will not do that again. Note there is still a good amount of material to go in or out, just a warning to be certain you trust the individual with silk and lace. Feel free to ask questions!
