I actually really like them otherwise, I am just not a fan of any kind of platform on a shoe now. Genuinely an awesome piece. I replaced the laces with leather ones, which you can see in the last photo. The old ones can be given if you want them, but one of them lost the aglet and was incredibly frayed.
