juliejoff I lost my mama 2 1/2 yrs ago. My PM proceeds are directed to lung cancer research. She was a non-smoker. I want this to end.

I participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk for several years. Unfortunately ours is in October here. The last few years It was cold, rainy and miserable.

mynahshine To cold in the winter for me! I have a friend in Saginaw! We get maybe 3 days of light snow and every couple years a week of heavy snow on my side of the Cascades. Did you get the card I sent you? I'll email you a couple more ideas later too. You're doing so great!

blessed2love 2003 I lost my niece to melanoma that metastasized to her bones and major organs. She was 32 with 2 small sons, age 2 & 8. She lived30 days and died on her daddy's birthday. Her mom, my only living sister, died on 5/30/14 from chemo complications. Mainly CHF. I GAINED 25# after she died! Looking for comfort. I hate cancer too!!

polka_dot_posh Hi Millie! You are beautiful. My four-legged baby girl Sheba (Siberian Husky) is a Breast Cancer Survivor. She was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had a mastectomy, and it successfully removed all the cancer tissue. Praise God!

bellanovella My mother and grandmother are both survivors of Breast Cancer. It is a hard tough road, but my mom was diagnosed when I was 18, so she was pretty young at the time, and my grandmother was diagnosed the next year. My mother is a strong, amazing, beautiful lady.

bellanovella @vb49079 I don't know. But I am happy to say my mom has been clear for since then. They both had to have mastectomies. I had a scare when I was 20. But it turned out ok. What is disturbing is that they are recommending not getting mammograms until later in life, when every day some young woman under the age of 40 is diagnosed.

bellanovella This new recommendation could mean insurance not paying for mammograms. I honestly believe if more men were dying & suffering from breast cancer there would be more done. It infuriates me when I see a commercial for something like viagra when women are dying. Why are they not spending more money & time doing something about this! It makes me so angry.

thrifty_grammy @luvnoostuf If it's just one item they're probably just doing that instead of liking the item. That way they can find it again. Sometimes it is just because they accidentally hit the bundle button. It's hard to say. If they bundle 2 or more items you can send them offer them a lower price and maybe they'll purchase.

luvnoostuf Valerie, Can you create a bundle for a buyer if they like an item? Last night, a lady bundled two items, I went to reply/accept then hit back space to check something. her bundle disappeared-I feel badly.I'm still unclear about bundling feature. Are buyers expecting a new bundle price and/or discounted shipping beyond what you built in with the bundling discount feature? I don't mind but don't one exactly how it works. I've tried that and submitted offers but then never heard back.

thrifty_grammy @luvnoostuf You can't create a bundle for a buyer with the bundle feature. Did they just bundle the items are actually bundle and make an offer?Do you know who it was? You could comment to them? As a buyer I don't expect anything but the bundle discount the seller has set. Then again I would never offer someone $10 for a $25 item and people do that all the time.

luvnoostuf @vb49079 there was a bundle with an option to accept or make an offer- a button. I forget which it says. Then when I hit that, it asks me to enter a monetary offer amount and / or below that, but a shopping discount ( which I've already set up). So I'm a bit confused.

thrifty_grammy @luvnoostuf To be honest I think it's very confusing too. I usually just do the smallest shopping discount and hope that gets them to purchase. Do you know who it was? If so, you could comment to them that you saw they bundled and something happened and if disappeared and that you are willing to give them a little better price if they are still interested.

thrifty_grammy @ducksquad Hello! I have a couple of suggestions if you don't mind. First, always start with the brand. When people are searching for something they are searching "Old Navy long sleeved top" (or something like that) not "cute top". Also , PM allows 50 characters/spaces so try to use them. Include the size and color of possible. Sometimes I have to use abbreviations (like sz instead of size etc)

thrifty_grammy @ducksquad Second, you're allowed 8 pictures. Try to use as many as possible. It might help Posh rule in your favor if someone ever opens a case and says an item is not as described. Try to show the size and fabric content labels and close ups of any details on the item.

thrifty_grammy @ducksquad You want your cover photos to be as bright and appealing as possible since that is what attracts someone and makes them stop and look at the item. You want your item to be as wrinkle free as possible and maybe use some little props if you have them. Small plants, a flowers, a necklace or something.

thrifty_grammy @ducksquad You don't want people to look at your cover shot and wonder "what the heck are they selling? The top? Shoes? The purse?" so you don't want to clutter it up too much with props or accessories. I hope these tips help. rachealgalloway @vb49079I joined Poshmark specifically to shop. Well after a while I decided to maybe sell a few items that were gifted to me that I did not need. A LV bag and Michael kors bag then a lady trying to connect me to some scam with LV items and publicly saying my bags are fakes! I felt it was very rude and unnecessary. I will be sure to have them authenticated so I can show prof but I thought posh did that for items listed for 500$ well my item never got that far. I think my posh days are done.

thrifty_grammy @rachealgalloway I'm sorry that happened to you. I think what happens is when someone reports your item as a fake they send out a notification to random Poshmark Ambassadors asking if they agree, disagree or are unsure. I think if they agree then Poshmark removes the listing.

thrifty_grammy @rachealgalloway It totally isn't fair. I always answer unsure but I'm sure not everyone does that. It's one of the things I think Poshmark really needs to change. Hopefully they are working to come up with a better way of doing things. Did you contact Posh Support when it happened?
