ahjhai We were both looking at the same bag and asking questions. I’ve never ever had a bad experience with this app. People are always honest and friendly. I got such a rude response that now I’m disillusioned. Do you have any advice?

theeleganthippy @ahjhai One thing that works for me is this: I am a little reserved with social comments in other people's closet. It is a polite Poshmark etiquette not to load comments on other's closet as well beside's a short compliment, but when I see they make an extra mile to express something positive I agree with I like to also comment. That last one is a sign of a member enjoying being social.

gloriasgalleria Hi Szilva! I have a newbie question you can surely help me with. The shipping instructions say that you can just drop your package in a mailbox, but for some reason I’ve felt like I needed to take packages to the post office and get a receipt. So that’s how I’ve shipped the first three items I sold. Is there a reason to do this or is it fine to drop packages in a mailbox? What do you do? Thanks!!! Gloria

theeleganthippy @groubal I have two ways. I live in a small town so they know me at the post office as well as the mailman. I either walk my packages in the post office and leave them on the counter at a safe place where we agreed with them (they always scan them here). I never had one lost and I sell a lot.

theeleganthippy @groubal The other way works for me is; I live in a house where I can put my mailbox flag up and mailman collects my mail from my porch. Again, we live in an upscale neighborhood and I agreed with my mailman who knows I sell a lot.

theeleganthippy @groubal Dropping your mail in the box only works with smaller sized packages and if your post office is busy and you would want to avoid standing in line for long to save time. They collect mails from the mailboxes usually after they finished loading all the mail from the post office in my town. About an hour later. That option is best if you are in a hurry. BUT! package has to slide and properly drop down to be safe.

theeleganthippy @groubal I’d ask for a walk in spot for drop off pre paid mail inside the post office. That’s the best. The sooner they scan it, the sooner it is registered in Poshmark’s system. I recommend you try different ways and follow the progress of your packages to see if any ways are faster scanned in. Usually mail is collected during the day and ships out ones a day. Maybe twice in big cities.
