Hi, I'm Shelley. 😊 I’m new to Poshmark, but giving it a try. My goal is to minimize my home, closet and life...to de-clutter. I would like to bless others in the process with well-kept items, while being able to re-coup some of what I’ve spent over many years of over-shopping/consuming. 🙈 My closet is overflowing, as are those of my daughters. I have also held onto many things wayyy too long, so there should be a good variety to choose from as I get going! Here we go...🤞🏻🙏

catlovernj @slegried You’re welcome. I’m also glad to be of help anyway I can regarding Poshmark. I’m a Poshmark ambassador. When I first started sales were slow, but over time, sales picked up. The holiday season is a good time to start selling.

kfnlyxuop @catlovernj I have yet to sell ONE thing, but have gotten a few tips from a friend & know I need to add to my closet & do more sharing. I have a TON coming! 🤞🏻 I tried my hardest to keep sharing just one jacket during a party today, but never even saw it pop up once. 😞 Trying hard not to get discouraged & give up! Any tips? 🙃

catlovernj @slegried I can tell you that it’s very difficult to see your own listing within a party feed. The reason is that many people are sharing at one time. The newest ones are at the top of the feed and it updates nearly instantaneously. It does make the party feed; sharing to parties does help because everyone can see listings shared to parties. When you share otherwise, listings are seen by only your followers.

catlovernj @slegried As long as you saw a notification that the item was shared, it was. Share and wait for that confirmation. If you want to see it, go to the party feed right away. I find it hard to see my own shares to a party. I look forward to seeing you list more items. Party hosts are always looking to recognize new Poshers with a Host’s Pick for a party....then you know your listing was noticed. 😻💕💕

catlovernj While waiting for a sale, notice if someone “likes” your listing. You can use the “offer to likers” button or option to offer a discount off the price & discount on shipping to encourage a sale. So look forward to “likes” too....

catlovernj @slegried You’re welcome. You’ll find others who are helpful too. Sharing is very important. Poshmark is very good for selling clothes....probably because of the sharing...It’s like window shopping...and someone might see your listing and become interested in buying it even if they weren’t looking for that specific thing.
