Louis Vuitton bag that you liked is from a scam account. They have multiple accounts with the same pictures.

@korslover12 well that sucks!! I sent a message to Posh asking about it. I had thought they screen things, but I read they don’t screen under $500?

@gibsons23 apparently these scam accounts don’t send anything but an empty box. Read @amvet1969 SCAM ALERT page.

@gibsons23 it’s horrible, it hurts all of us that are legitimate sellers on here. I’ve been selling and buying since 2014 with no problems until now this happens. It’s a ring of people not just one person that are making hundreds of alias accounts with the same pictures. The pictures are taken from legitimate accounts

@korslover12 depends on the actual scammer. There are two variations, I wanted to write a second listing but poshmark has me restricted because of a complaint from a scammer lol. One is they either send you and empty envelope or something insignificant like a sock. Had one buyer recently say they got a used covid test, also reports of wire ties, doll clothes, cat collars...

@amvet1969 It’s crazy !!!

@korslover12 second variation is they alter the label and send an empty envelope to a different address which tricks tracking into thinking you recieved something but noting arrives. Although the empty envelope went to a different address yours is still linked to tracking. For that you have to go into usps to have them look at the image of the label to see the alteration.

@gibsons23 do you have the sellers name. I'll look at it for you. I check other listings to see where they got their images. If i get a match I'll tell you and you can use that for your dispute

@amvet1969 and most people won’t make a-trip to usps, it’s too much work. They’re ruining it for everyone.

@amvet1969 good to know, thank you!

@korslover12 I just canceled an order I made, after you told me all that. Thankfully the cancellation was accepted. Good vibes and karma to you! I appreciate it.

korslover12
@gibsons23 thank goodness you were able to cancel . Many of us are trying to write FAKE SCAM account on their listings but the scammers are blocking us on-their pages. They have hundreds of accounts so you are one of the lucky six that I have contacted and then able to get a cancellation. Many others liked it but didn’t place an order yet. Unfortunately we can’t get to everybody because there’s too many scam accounts

gibsons23
@korslover12 apparently you have 3 hours to cancel it. I was 3min away from not being able too. Seriously, thank you. That’s really crappy. I really thought it was safe. Ugggg

korslover12
@gibsons23 WOW!!!! So glad you were able to get that taken care of. Whew!!! If you go to brands and click on Michael Kors you will see all of their listings and you can tell that it’s a scam they are listing these bags under Michael Kors. If there are any bags at all that is
Sep 06Reply

gibsons23
@korslover12 I saw that!! I was really confused as to why a LV bag was listed under Mk… guess that explains it!
Sep 06Reply

korslover12
@gibsons23 yes that’s the first clue and then they have weird fake names of numbers and letters that they use with these fake pictures. You can search the brand Michael Kors and scroll down and see all of the different accounts posting the same pictures they create hundreds of new accounts every day and we’re trying to write fake on them but they’re blocking us

@gibsons23 Sorry if I was repetitive I’m talking to so many people I’m losing my mind
Sep 06Reply

amvet1969
@korslover12 yes but when usps notifies you a package was delivered and you go out and nothing is there most will go into usps. Unless they know it's a scam and to ask them to look at the image their system takes they will mistakenly believe it was misdelivered.
