jillsis @sarahbperl My experience on eBay is that you can only make offers on items the seller has set up that way. On PM you can make offers on all items - and the seller can accept, counteroffer, or refuse.

sarahbperl @jillsis hi again. Where would the sellers reply to my offer appear? In this comments section? Also there’s nothing in the “offers” section. Does that mean my offer didn’t register?

jillsis @sarahbperl it sounds like maybe your offer didn’t go through. You should be able to see any active offers in the offers section. When they reply it will show up in your news feed and in an email/phone notifications if you have those enabled.

sarahbperl @jillsis I’m back ... so the person didn’t respond to the offer. It just expired after 24 hours. I understand not everyone is on all the time. Is there a way to contact the seller other than making an offer? Thanks again

jillsis @sarahbperl Well, it’s also possible that it’s a closet that someone doesn’t really keep up with anymore. There are two places you can look to see if the closet is active. Look at the items in the closet - does it show a recent date on when the items were updated? Also, if you click on the persons picture, go into the About button - if they have been on the site recently it will show when they were last active. If they are still active I would resubmit your offer.
