lorilayton I hope that you would share with me about your interest in running a not for profit organization. I’m learning backwards about it . I’ve taken some business courses. I would have loved to just taken a class about not for profit organizations and How - to ! I would love to turn the tables on the evil people who take advantage of the suffering and disadvantaged . I don’t know if you know what I mean by that . But I would love to know what you may want to do .

reinventu I can also tell you, it's more about the mission/purpose than business. Once that is established you are able to organize from there and do what's necessary to be sustainable. School doesn't teach us about mission; it's placed within us.

I wish that I was a millionaire. my sister is in a church based prison in Texas ??? I’m in PA . She is supposed to done this month ... the last time I heard from her , she said she was sore from doing squats all day in a Toyota plant inspecting trucks for 8 hours .

reinventu @lorilayton Prayers are more than enough. The Lord is leading me, so I'm well provided for; money in the bank!!! I have a penpal program too. There is so much individuals can do to assist with any mission. Time is very good because you must stop all else to focus on the mission. I pray she remains encouraged and learns all she can.

reinventu @lorilayton Contact the prison you'd like to donate your time to and request information about writing to the inmates. Once that is established, you can share with others and they can join you in encouraging women/men through letters/PenPals.

You can also contact any nonprofit in your area and request information from them if they have listings for your area. There are lists online. Endless avenues to serve.

My sister was released to an ‘organization, straight from drug court , that uses Jesus as a front , uses 501c , uses the prisoners to sing for donations, etc... she has developed an intimate relationship with a chaplain there ..

reinventu @lorilayton where there is good being done there is evil attempting to imitate. It really isn't about my choice, I seek them all. My book is in 6 states on the East coast, so I really don't have a specific one. I suggest choosing a state, then a city, and select from those in that area. From there I believe you will be lead in the way you should go that may open up more you can do as you communicate with one of the women.
