foresttreasures @kristikusche We know hounds. We had 2 beagles. Our oldest passed away a few years ago, we still have Dylan. He is 14. We have had him since he was 8wks old. He is very very kind, but boy, he can test us to the end of our patience some days. Guess he is just being a beagle. We have a cat that thinks the world revolves around her & a little midget chihuahua who just showed up on our lawn one day when we still lived in FL & decided we were his humans. He is a pure joy & makes us laugh everyday!

foresttreasures We also have a cat, showed up 1 day, decided to stay for dinner & sleep on our porch. It's been 2 yrs, feeding him & making him a bed complete w/warming pads in winter, but he still won't let us touch him or come in the house. Probably because Lucy is a bi_ch & hisses at him. He's a golden Siamese, & boy is he a talker. Has whole conversations w/me which, of course, cracks me up. He is well fed, and seems content to live outside, but I worry since we have lots of wild critters here like bears.
