Hi! I'm Julianna. Thanks for stopping by! I’ve been married to my husband for 33 years, am a Mom of 4 & Grandmother to 2. I’m also an embroidery artist & seamstress and enjoy upcycling gently used & new clothing or linens into one of a kind art. I also stock some of my original handmade items. Our home is smoke-free, but we love animals. I do keep them out of the room where I store Poshmark items, & do my best to send your items w/o bonus fur.

jubles96 @nancyherrington My husband is an Oncology drug rep:-). It’s a hectic life, true story...not so much for him, but he sees how it is for those working in patient care. My daughters are all grown up. So they’re all in women’s sizes too. Theoretically, I should have more time for this kind of thing, bc I homeschooled all my children which took all my time, but then I graduated the last one in May of last year. But if anything, my life is busier than ever.

I just gave one to my friend's daughter for her 1st holy Communion. The Volodymyr & Olha saints were Prince and Princess of Kyiv. She adopted Christianity in 957AD. Her grandson christened the entire kingdom in 988. And as a proud descendant of Ukrainians I must mention this all happened well before Russian empire was on the map.

jubles96 @soppy55 thank you! it’s actually a dress form that is used for sewing. It’s not as good for styling probably as a mannequin that is meant more to be just that. My poor mannequin (don’t tell her, lol) makes pants and shorts look really deformed. Sometimes I think I’d be better off to just lay those on the bed or the floor. I’ve actually had a lot more fun accessorizing than I thought I would & it’s made me realize that I could have been doing a lot better styling myself than I do!

jubles96 @soppy55 I also think you don’t need a mannequin at all to style beautifully. There are people a lot better than me at it who don’t use one at all. For example, @gracieandsue is great at it. You have to look a little ways down in her closet bc I don’t think she’s been styling as much recently as she did when she started. She must be more busy lately, lol. But hers is one of my favorites. And I’ve seen others who do similar.

Sometimes I just share more randomly to be able to share even if there’s not something to my personal taste to give a sampling of what’s there, but when there is, that’s my strategy! But if it is my size and I like it and I hope to buy it later, I selfishly don’t share it. Muahahahaha! Yes, I am a terrible person. The truth is out now! 😂

kattsclosett @jubles96 Hey Julie, thanks so much for your 5 star rating, you had mentioned keeping the wrinkles out and cheating a titch with the ironing. A great thing to do is hang the skirt in the bathroom while taking a shower or even turning on a hot shower about five minutes prior to actually showering. Then just pull the fabric slightly smoothing it. Also placing between two shower damp towels helps as well. Hope that helps keep your iron in the cupboard for you 😁

jubles96 @kattsclosett lol, yeah. I do that too. And will give it a whirl for sure for this skirt. I really hate ironing. I also have a dryer you can add water to...for things that are dryer safe anyway, it helps. I have a steamer which I don’t mind as much. But some things you just have to pull the iron out for. jubles96 @artdoll56 Black really is a difficult one to capture. If you put too much light on it, the color looks wrong, but not enough and the details don’t show up. I try to include some of each...I think people understand that it’s hard to photograph and some are for color and some are for the details! At least anyone who’s tried to photograph that’s not professional anyway!

I noticed a small white mark in the corner snd thinking it was a piece of paper, I went to remove it but instead it took off a piece. A seller sent me a package of breakables that I felt she took reasonable care with, judging by the packing materials included. But almost everything was smashed, some literally to a fine dust. I was relieved after that experience to have the very unique plate be safe. Her items were beautiful, and antique and I was so sad. Comparatively though, yours arrived guarded like Fort Knox. And I thought her packing pretty good. 😂

jubles96 @erin1969 it was a set of beautiful vintage canisters and a handmade vase. The design was sort of bohemian, and reminded me of the Russian khokhloma embroidery floral design. I embroider and I’m Russian Orthodox, and it’s one of my favorite designs. The vase was just a pretty piece of handmade pottery that I liked and was adding on bc I was buying the canisters anyway. Might as well since postage was the same. Except that the post office broke it too! 😂

jubles96 @erin1969 thank you! Appreciate it. I found some on Etsy but they’re double the price. Not sure if I can do it. They’re pretty small, so not big enough for flour, sugar and major staples. erin1969 @jubles96 no problem! At least you have talent. I would never attempt anything artsy. If you change your mind send the photos. You never know what I end up with. My husband and I started buying storage units at auction since Covid. So the different items we get are crazy. A lot of beautiful things I haven't gotten to posting yet.

Somehow the numbers are out of whack bc of that one daughter who needed 3 pets to everybody else’s one. She would have brought home ALL the pets if she could. I suspect yours would too!

jubles96 @slambassador I want different size pillows. For my couch. And I want to pull it apart and be able to salvage the piping for them too.. I’d like to be able to have a zipper, but if they’re made like typical shams that you just slide the insert in, that’s probably too much to ask, and I’ll probably have to make them similarly. The fabric pieces in the back would be too short. But I’ll figure it out.

jubles96 @triscuithawes yeah, sorry, that’s not really what I do. I buy all my machine designs (around $8 a piece) and prefer to do unique artistic designs, rarely words. Occasionally a design will contain words, but it’s pretty rare. I honestly just don’t enjoy it.

The first ones listed haven’t happened yet, but if you scroll right you’ll see the Jeans one that just ended and if you click it you can see listings that were shared to it. But it’s too late to share anything yourself to it. Hope that helps:-)

jubles96 @myceefaith yeah, I see it mainly as a place for people to have opportunity to get their items more exposure by category and puts those items conveniently in one place for shoppers. I don’t often go shop them, but I share to them regularly. So I’m probably not the most knowledgeable posher about it. I’m sure I don’t personally take as full advantage of the many features here designed to improve your experience.
