georgettevernon Also, it is a tuxedo shirt. Traditionally tuxedo shirts didn’t have any buttons. The gentleman would use cuff links on the sleeves and similar matching mini cuff links for the body of the shirt. Check out @sl915. They have 3 different examples

cochranetracy I received the WW2 nurses cape today. It’s a lovely piece of history. Would like the backstory of the piece if you know it. This is a gift for my friend who’s a nurse and as we all know the medical profession has been having a tough go these last few years. I’d like to tell her about this item’s past to let her know that her work has and will be valued. At any rate, it’s here and I’m quite happy with the purchase.
