Good morning 🌄, Yes, There is an A line flare to this dress. The dress is designed to emphasize the waist and then it gradually widens to about 84 inches all around. No slit. It's a gorgeous dress, something I bought with the hope of being able to wear one day. Unfortunately that's never going to happen. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and a beautiful holiday season.🌞
