cgardner4u Hello Danielle. I wanted to sincerely apologize for the product not holding up. I always inspect my items to make sure they are functional and not damaged before shipping. I did so with your boots and never noticed any damages. The boots are designed so that the rubber sole/shell can be removed for cleaning without disturbing the shearling lining. It should be able to be reattached otherwise, if I may suggest, taking it to a shoe repair. Again, I do apologize.
