hannahsharp12 Hi Cynthia! I saw that you just purchased the dress from my closet. When I went to pull it out and set aside I noticed the tag read “UK 8, US 6”. I’m typically an 8 dress size and when I saw the 8 I didn’t look closely enough. I’m happy to take any extra measurements(bust, waist, etc) you want to make sure it will be a good fit, or I’m happy to cancel the sale if you are worried. I’m sorry for my mistake and wanted to make sure I communicated before I sent the dress off!

cynthianichols6 @hannahsharp12 Oh... dang. I'm definitely not a size 6. I'm more like an 8/10. I reread my RTR review and I wore the 10 because the 8 was snug on my ribcage. Unfortunately, I don't think a 6 will fit me. Gosh, I don't know... I love the dress. What do you think? I did see another lady on Poshmark that was looking for that exact dress in a size 6/8 (https://poshmark.com/listing/HELP-ISO-Cynthia-Rowley-Dress-58d98aee56b2d68aa701aab2)

hannahsharp12 I’m usually at least an 8 but I’m pregnant and can’t try on for you. When I wore it I was 5’6 and probably 165-170 lbs? I’m a B cup bra size. I’m so sorry I had it listed like that, usually I’m very careful but I was sure it was an 8 until I looked again just now.

cynthianichols6 Actually, I'm 5'7 and currently 168 lbs, with a B cup... so it may actually work! Could you measure the PTP and waist tonight and let me know? I have lost some weight since I wore it last, so maybe it'll fit. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

hannahsharp12 @cynthianichols6 of courage! I will measure and comment back here. Any other measures? Should strap to waist? I will try to get pictures of the measurements but I take the waist to mean under the bust where the zipper stops in the back, as below that it is free flowing correct?

cynthianichols6 I don't really recall having any other issues than the ribcage being a little tight on the 8. I've lost 20-ish pounds since then, so there's a possibility it could work. So that one measurement should be plenty. Thank you!

hannahsharp12 @cynthianichols6 hi okay so the best I could measure the waist is 14.6” (I would say it’s actually 15 because I used a tape measured and not a soft tape) and the PTP is 16”. In shirts I’m normally a 20” PTP for reference but because this is tight fitting doesn’t have sleeves I would say this is probably accurate. I hope this helps!
