I have written to Poshmark and sent images of the rotten worthless boots you sold me. I would like a refund for the $91 I spent on boots that fell apart to a dangerous point during a hike. They were misrepresented and complete trash. Thank you.

@eemann123 I am so sorry that this happened. Please trust that this was not intentional. I bought these boots from another seller on Poshmark, and they were far too big for me, so I relisted them immediately. I never hiked in them so I did not know that they were in poor condition. I’m so sorry that this put you in a position where you felt unsafe. I’d like to make this right in a way that is fair to all of us, since I was also sold a faulty item without my knowledge.

@gnarlstrom After my initial frustration and feeling of having been misled, I calmed down and realized that something like that must have happened. I looked up the model and see that it is a very old pair and since then, the logo and labeling have changed. I will send another message back to the site management when we figure out what to do. I will also request they erase my comment above. Can you do a refund from your end?

@eemann123 I’ve also contacted Poshmark about how to best handle the situation. I’m not super familiar with the platform so I’m not sure about refund capabilities on my end. I’m hoping to get the original seller involved as well.

@gnarlstrom I hope you can. That was lame of them to sell something so wasted. Please let me know what they say. --I assume it won't be until Monday.

@gnarlstrom How would you like to settle? Can we contact through email but with some way to not put it on a public wall?
Apr 20Reply

gnarlstrom
@eemann123 it doesn’t seem that there’s any way to message people on poshmark privately. I received an email from them yesterday stating that there is no way for me to provide a refund, and that they were waiting to hear from you, the buyer.

You can send me an email through my website contact page. https://solaz.biz/contact-us We can do things directly.

@gnarlstrom The way to set this right it to get a check to reimburse to cost of the worthless boots. $91 is a lot of money to lose for no reason. I will send you pictures of the sole flopping off, only attached at the tip of the nose of the shoe, the shank flapping and black particles of rotted porous plastic crumbling on the floor and covering your hands when you touch them.

@eemann123 as a seller, I only receive a percentage of the amount you paid, and the rest goes to poshmark. The amount you paid is not total profit for me. If we were to arrange something like this, we would need to involve the first seller as well. When I contacted Poshmark about this issue, they said there was nothing they could do until they spoke to you. Did they respond to your contacting them?
Apr 26Reply

eemann123
@gnarlstrom They responded and said we settle it between us. I suggest you get hold of the person who sold them to you and get the full refund. I do not think it just that I should lose anything on something that is useless. Poshmark will offer you $10 credit for your complaints that could account for some of it. I have created a folder of a few of the images of the boots. These are what I had to descend a mountain in. Essentially flip-flops with less control.

The right thing to do is to refund me my full cost. It is the right thing for them to do as well. As the seller, it is your ethical and responsible duty to assure you are selling something worthy.

I have not heard from you or received a check. You need to pay me back for the useless boots.

When are you going to respond about the bad boots? Have you talked to the other seller? Do you really think it just that I should lose $90 because you made a bad purchase and sold them in bad faith?
May 25Reply

gnarlstrom
@eemann123 I am sorry you felt the need to handle yourself in this way. I have been unavailable and offline dealing with an important family matter which takes priority over responding to your poshmark messages. I am really sorry this happened this way and that you had the experience that you did. I was more than happy to reimburse you for the amount that I made on the boots
May 25Reply

gnarlstrom
@eemann123 ...(which was $60; the listing price was $80, I’m not sure where you’re getting $90 from. I only made $60 from the interaction, as poshmark takes a cut) but due to the aggressive and self entitled way in which you’ve chosen to speak to me, threaten me, and that I bow to your demands rather than ask me reasonably, I’ve changed my mind about wanting to work with you.

@eemann123 Might I suggest using some kindness and flexibility the next time you’re hoping to get something from someone.

@gnarlstrom I am just now seeing any of your responses. I contacted Poshmark multiple times, was told to handle it with you & heard nothing from you since April 25. I gave it until May 17 & nothing. On May 25, a month later & no answer, I deduced you were ignoring the issue and put up those messages so at least people would know to not "accept" your items until really studying them. The complete amount I paid was $92 including the shipping and such. What was my option? What would you have done?
