This is my mannequin, Holly ^_^ She's here to help me with modeling my clothes so that they can be better visualized for everyone. Her measurements are as follows: Torso height = 23" Shoulder to shoulder width =14" Bust = 29.6" Waist = 26.5" Hips = 30" HAPPY POSHING!

ladypandak @lovingnatalie lol, as much as we love our "models", they can't beat flesh & bones :) but they're very helpful to have, makes it easier for us, & again they're fun, like playing dress up on a big-sized Barbie doll!

ladypandak Hi @ashloush I didn't want to bombard you with questions on fit in your closet, so I thought to continue the discussion here in mine with my child-sized mannequin. Check out "her" measurements: they're similar to mine except I have more of an hourglass shape with a 1" difference. Based on this, can you tell how close or not close we are?

avisitems @1pandak I don't know my exact measurements off hand and I'm not home now to measure myself, but how about we both measure ourselves within the next few days (I won't be back home until Friday evening) and see if we match up? Because I don't want to give the wrong measurement, even if it's slightly off it could be a big deal !!

ladypandak Hi @ashloush so what sort of measurements I'll need? I know my bust & waist is 1" bigger and my waist is 1" smaller than my mannequin. I'm also 2" taller than you. Should I also measure my arm?

ladypandak @chrissy1ou adult-sized ones are pricey, but I found children-size are half the cost on amazon, which is closer to my petite size. But getting a hanging mannequin is more affordable & do just as well (plus they can display pants easily than a standup like mine). If I wasn't petite, I would've considered that option first. Hope this helps!

ladypandak @clozeho lol, you can find Holly's sisters at amazon, but just beware that they're 10-12 years old so they can talk a lot :) you will also find Holly's older sisters, but some are larger than her (& pricey) and some are split in half at the torso (& much less pricey). Take your pick, as all of her sisters would be happy to find a home ^_^ Happy Poshing!

ladypandak Hey @image_abstract I know you’re busy, but if you can take a short break, can you at least judge on the fit of the coat on my mannequin based on its measurements in comparison to your own body measurements? Its measurements are as follows: Shoulder to shoulder width = 14" Bust = 29.6"; Waist = 26.5"; Hips = 30" If you think it can fit the mannequin, then it’s very likely to fit me & I will buy the coat at your listed price. image_abstract @ladypandak sorry I don't have a soft tape measure. The coat is tight around the shoulders and armpit area, and I'm 103 pounds, 5'3. Average build, not athletic. Can only wear a thin shirt under when I tried it on before listing on posh.

ladypandak @sg1771 Hi, Shari! It was actually hard since I signed up a tad late, so I wasn’t fully prepared, but I did get something down & learned something too. For starters, I’ve gotta get into the habit of making time to write everyday. Once I’ve got others things wrapped up, I’ll get to writing daily so that by next summer, I can try again for a month thru NaNo Camp :) Hope all’s well with you - and thanks for sharing me while I was away! ladypandak @audratuohy1 Thanks 😊 She’s actually a child-sized mannequin, so size 0-2 is a tad loose on her. I have these sized clothing in my closet since sometimes before, I had to settle with regular sizing, even if they were too big for me. Let me know if you have any other question!
