tamara2530 Type iv here😰 , MCTD,Gastroparesis,POTS and oxygen dependent with idiopathic pulmonary hemosiderosis . Vanderbilt has me enrolled in their research program as apparently this is all so rare. Needless to say I feel like a time bomb

tamara2530 @shopwitherinnow thank you! Yes not many of us around. I started out at Mayo but fortunately I have Vanderbilt by me. Yes, with the idiopathic pulmonary hemosiderosis my lungs hemorrhage. I have had 1 regular saddle PE then in February I had pulmonary venous thrombosis which no one has ever seen. Yay me. Just found out last week I have developed pulmonary arterial hypertension. My medical team call me their medical unicorn 🦄

shopwitherinnow @tamara2530 - I guess so!!! Yikes. Thankfully, I’m pretty much textbook EDSer. Unfortunately, most medical personnel don’t know much about it even when it is run of the mill. And I don’t blame them one bit. They have to learn & retain SO much. So when a weirdo comes along, they are a bit baffled. Understandably. They don’t live it every day as we do. I always appreciate someone who wants to learn and know more in order to help us out. Let’s hear it for Unicorns and Zebras!!

meisch1234 Thank you Erin for posting this!!! I was curious if you have found a great collagen, protein, vitamins & tricks you use to help with health & pain ESP the fatigue? The connective tissue pain is so bad & they keep cutting pain help. I really need to get to the desert! Its so hard to move a home of 20 yrs.
