Hi! These are not altered. These are the original hem, which you can see at the Mother website if you search for The Weekender Layover. One of the only pair of Weekenders with a full hem. I wore these a handful of times, just getting rid of them because I personally like the frayed hem of the Weekend better for myself. There is no damage or wear on them. The denim is nice and thick, but super stretchy which makes the fit really nice!
