My dad is Bicolano and mom is from Laguna so that makes me half Tagalog too. 😊 I can imagine how big your family get togethers are with your bajillion cousins and extended family. My hubby doesn't get it that we still call distant relatives uncles/aunts/cousins, etc. 😁

@wowenypon Sounds great. That's what we did too. Hubby (especially) and I gorged on all the mangoes we can get in whatever form be in shake or fresh. Super yumm! It was too hot though so spending time at the beach was welcome. Which province are you from or Manila?

@wowenypon you're right sis! We have the best mangoes ever. I don't eat fresh mangoes here because I know I'll be disappointed. Oops, biased much? 😜 Hubby loves the 7D dried mangoes over the Philippine brand ones that we get from Costco. We searched everywhere for them in Manila, SM doesn't sell them only Landmark and at the airport. Weird? I love Cebu. Maybe next holiday, I'll bring hubby there as a side trip from Bohol. We miss going there too. 😊

@kchanel1117 Hi Kaycee! Welcome to Poshmark! You have a fab closet. If I could just just lend some knowledge I've learned along the way. As you prob know one of the biggest rules abt Poshmark is they don't allow the use of Paypal. If you put this at the very top of your closet or somewhere visible (That you do not accept Paypal) you will find that ppl will be more inclined to follow you & possibly buy from you. Feel free to take a look in my closet for the list of things PM does not allow the sale of. I'll be glad to tag you on it if you'd like. Following/knowing all the Poshmark rules will ensure a more pleasurable experience. I am sure you have read all of this in the guidelines but just in case I like to share to avoid headaches later! @abrig223 Hi April! Nice to meet you! Will it be your first time to go to Boracay? It will be fun and November weather might be a little cooler compared to what it is now. Boracay as a lot to offer and has a vibrant nightlife. We decided to go to Palawan this time for more serene and peaceful islands. And we were not disappointed. 😁 It is more fun in the Philippines indeed. 😍

@abrig223 wow!!! Your mom's 90th birthday will be a milestone. That's the only thing when you go home to the Philippines, you have to spend time with family so you can't do it all in one go. But, it will be good fun. That was the case with our last trip, we spent quite a bit of time in Laguna and Manila, the rest in Coron. The time we went to Boracay was when we were wedding planning. I considered the island for our our wedding but it lost to Bohol. 😁 It was easier logistically for all our families who traveled from abroad and Laguna. And we found the perfect resort and church for us. Hubby has been to Bohol 2x, me maybe at least 5x. 😁

@ex_globetrotter yes i know!!!! Our christmas probably takes atleast 2-3 hours to pass out gifts to the kids only!! My mom was one out of 16 siblings & my lola & lolo were both one out of 12 & one out of 15 so when i say our family is huge its an understatement lol.. :) im in Houston right now for vacay and i get to have some Jollibee tomorrow! Im so excited hehe.. & thankkkkkk you so much for welcoming me into the pinay family! And its going to take a while to thank the other girls too!! Xoxo

But, the menu here in the US is slightly different but it's all good! It's a happy place for us Pinays. 😁 take your time, have fun on your holidays! It's been a while since I went to Houston.

@kchanel1117 Hi Kaycee. You mean like hold an item? You can ask the seller if she can hold an item or bundle for you, not all sellers do because some have lost sales when holding items and then the person 'disappears'. But, if she agrees to do it she'll put a hold on the listing and change the price to an amount that no person would just buy. It could also be the yellow 'reserve' banner on an item. That means someone is on the process of purchasing it. Once done, it will become the permanent red 'sold' banner that you see on the item. I hope this helps and enjoy the rest of your holiday. 🇺🇸💐🇺🇸

@goldnrl hubby and I were just there last week and it was too hot. Thankfully we have a/c at home now and we spent a week in an island in Palawan. I've visited Olongapo & Clark when they were already converted to EPZAs. Loved shopping in the warehouse clubs there. We did team buildings there and I did publicity for UK Navy ships when they visited the Philippines in '02. Well, US troops are establishing presence again with the new agreement. China is bullying everyone in the region and it's not funny. I think, my dad was concerned when I told him we're going to Coron. But, it's safe there. 😊

@abrig223 Yes,Boracay is fun but it has changed a LOT from the first time I went in '93.I used to go there 2-3 x a year & even spent a few Holy Weeks too. 😊 It all started when hubby worked on our fireplace & it snowballed from there.We decided to get new hardwood floors & gutted the kitchen since we're changing the floors anyway. Our kitchen cabinets are arriving next week.There goes summer. 😫 Our master bath, walk in closet & my Posh closet in the basement might be next.

@abrig223 The Shang is great! No wonder you loved Boracay. Station 2 is too hectic.😋 There's another nice resort at the other end of the island past Station 3 called Asya. We checked them out too when we were wedding planning. But, Bohol made more logistical sense for family & friends traveling from abroad. It saved everyone a long land & boat transfer after the flight. 💗Our house is not really a fixer upper but needs a little updating. Where are you living now?

What do you think would be the best way to list it? i.e. What pieces to show in the cover shot & should I list them all in one listing as a set AND list each piece by itself? What would you do? @lhaag721 Hi Lynda! That's a great question. I think you can decide which one to style the jacket with on the cover shot and post pictures of the items separately to show their own details. Listing it as a 3 piece suit might be more attractive but sometimes you might be asked if you'll sell them individually. It's up to you if you'll break them up or at least keep one of them paired with the jacket. I hope this helps & I hope they sell soon too. 👍🏼

@ex_globetrotter Thanks sweetheart! I was thinking pretty much that as well. I can always change up the listing if I'm not getting any traffic on the listing. I'm really trying to get rid of my summer stuff but, even though I have slashed a lot of prices, sales have been soft. I'm moving in a month or two and I don't want to have to take the summer things with me!

@lhaag721 Yes, it's been a little slow in Posh but that's the way it is I guess. You'll never know when the right person is looking in your closet at the right time. My other stores have been doing a little better so I'm not worried. As for overwhelming the buyer, it's great to offer a variety of items year round. That's the beauty of Posh. I have friends who've been turned down by consignment stores because their items are out of season.

@lhaag721 You also might have buyers who are already looking for items for the next season. Some ladies have done bid & buy listings, in case you want to look into it to get rid of your summer stuff quicker.

@lhaag721 I've seen some with super high prices and on the item listing, the seller lists the minimum bid price and then ladies would make offers on the comments. The seller sets a deadline for bid closing and then she will sell the item to the bidder with the highest offer when it closes. I guess, the winning buyer has to settle her account then. I've never done it though but you might want to consider it.
