Lucchese 10.5EE San Antonio/El Paso era classic boots Made in USA

If you're familiar, these are post San Antonio, pre Classics era boots. After moving from SA to El Paso, Lucchese continued to make high-quality built boots, but because of the move they weren't stamped with the San Antonio mark a lot of us look for in vintage Luccheses. In my opinion, they're no different. The Classics line replaced this line of boots but were, again, built similarly. What does that mean to someone not familiar with the history of this company? Simply stated, these are some of the best boots you'll find comparable even to custom boots, which isn't always a great option if you buy them pre-worn, since they weren't customized to you personally. I've owned several pairs of San Antonios, these, and Classics- and my assertion is that they're close enough that you won't be thinking about it. You'll always pay a premium for well built footwear, so be wary of buying solely on the name. Even higher end companies sometimes produce lower end product lines. These, as with many vintage boots, are well worth the money spent. I've come back to wearing D width, so these are on the market. The color is deep and rich. Although you may want to replace the heel pads (very affordable at most cobblers), the soles will last a while. I always condition one last time before shipping. Respectful offers always welcome
