Real french LV hardware does this after 20 years or so. Date code pictured Vintage Louis Vuitton Portfolio 15 – SL0939, France, September 1999. Monogram canvas with buttery vachetta that’s darkened to honey all over. Single brass buckle secures the fold-over flap-no snaps, pure vintage flex. D-rings up top for a lost shoulder strap, but the handle’s rock solid. Canvas crisp, edges barely scuffed, no stains you can’t ignore. Interior tab reads Louis Vuitton Paris Made in France. Light oxidation on brass, just enough to look lived-in, not trashed. Holds a thirteen-inch laptop or stack of folders without choking. Overall: very good vintage-strap not included.
