I have good news and bad news about this scarf. The good news is I have one for sale! This was an INCREDIBLY difficult scarf to acquire when it was introduced in 2003. This was when Marc Jacobs was Creative Director at Louis Vuitton and the House collaborated with Takashi Murakami. In tandem, they created the vibrant color way Multicolore and Mini Multicolore. Many scarves were created in the white as well as the black version in Multicolore. However, very few were available in Noir Mini Multicolore in 26" x 26" which is what this is. As a LV VIP, I was invited to acquire the scarf. Get ready for the bad news...during a dinner party, a guest inadvertently dropped her cigarette ash onto my purse that had this scarf tied around the handle. It burnt a tiny hole into the silk scarf. However, I had the scarf taken to a professional weaver who meticulously closed the hole with silk mulberry thread, thinner than a human hair. It is shown VERY close-up in the 13th photo. If you zoom-in on the scarf, count 6 LV's across and 7 LV's down to locate the area where it was repaired. I wore the scarf after it was repaired and the repair is in a place that doesn't show. It is hardly noticeable, but it is there. The repair has been taken into account and is reflected in the selling price. (blouse and cap not included but for photographic purposes only)
