Brighten up your holidays w/this festive French sweater by Lil pour l'Autre. No holes, tears or stains. Extremely soft, comfortable & roomy w/a neckline that is elegant & unique in its simplicity. Some early examples of this label appear in Elle magazine from the 1970s, but you really have to dig for them. I would probably date this sweater to the 1980s. Lil (a star of the "Knit à la carte" service, offering yarns & technical specifications) presents about fifteen models, each more beautiful than the last. Coats, jackets, vests, & SWEATERS (900 to 1,200 francs) are GENEROUSLY SIZED, with well-structured shoulders thanks to gathers or nested armholes, and trousers w/elasticated waists. They are made of yak & merino wool & cotton, or MOHAIR, wool, silk, linen, & cotton blends, in SOLID COLORS, heathered patterns or jacquards.
