vlacgn30 @c_kirtley oh no! We got our chicks from the local store and we were only supposed to get 10, but ended up with 15! But we assumed they wouldn’t all make it since it was our first time with chicks, nope, all 15 survived! Ended up having to find a farm to send 6 of them to because we didn’t have room for that many. We also have 2 turkeys (a male named Dezi and a girl named Ethel) we used to have a Lucy (reference to I love Lucy) but she broke her hip 😭

c_kirtley @vlacgn30 ohhh poor lil Lucy. I haye to heat that. If I were closet I would've definitely taken some chicks off your hands! I got this batch from Rural King. I'm thinking they just had a bad batch of chicks because I've gotten at least 20 babies from there before & they've all made it to adulthood. Im praying these 2 babies make it. I've always wanted turkeys too!! Youte so lucky girl! My hubby says no more animals lol.
