Labradorite is a member of the feldspar mineral family. The very first known references of Labradorite are found in the legends of native people from Northern America. People of the Inuit tribe called Labradorite the “firestone” or “fire rock”. They believed that Labradorite was an intermedium between the Earth and other realms.
