Our Cleaning Process: This gorgeous piece has received a full-on spa treatment so it is clean and beautiful. The products we use are not the junk shown on youtube and other such platforms that can degrade the leather in a suprisingly short amount of time. Instead, we clean and conserve inhouse using products designed for and used by museum conservation and restoration specialists. These products safely and effectively clean down to the pores of the leather, extending the leather's life. A leather conditioner is then applied that does not create acid in the leather but fixes the fibers preventing migration and deterioration. If necessary, we then use a leather conditioner that includes a combination of polymers and co-polymers that form a flexible-interweaving substructure that adds strength and softness to the leather. This conditioner adds oils back into the leather that have been lost due to heat and time.
