Speedy 18 Released in 1988 for the 10th Anniversary of the Japan Louis Vuitton Flagship Store. This IS NOT a Mini Speedy HL. This was a limited release and it is my understanding based on my research that only 500 of these were made available. The bag is in good vintage condition for its age. The zipper was professionally repaired by a Louis Vuitton Atelier. The bag hasn’t been carried since it was repaired. It will come with the new LV dust bag and box in which it was shipped back from the Atelier. Please verify condition with photos as they are part of the description. Questions are welcome!

krpassarotti @sauciepants42 There’s no serial number on this one. Except for a barely legible number under the side tab. I can include a photo of the LV repair receipt, as they don’t service bags which aren’t authentic.

krpassarotti @rmgml It’s a small crack on the surface of the canvas. Doesn’t go to the other side. I am not the original owner of the bag, I’ve had it about 2yrs but it was at LV Atelier for months.

rmgml @krpassarotti thank you! Did you want to replace the handles and the crack when it was at atelier? Just curious, I may want to take it in the future.

krpassarotti @rmgml I only wanted to replace the zipper tab because it was torn off when I got it. I didn’t want to replace the handles or any of the Vachetta. Unfortunately LV doesn’t repair the canvas, but it’s so tiny that it doesn’t affect usage.

krpassarotti @rmgml No peeling or tears, but definitely flaws on the vachetta due to the age of the bag. Feel free to zoom in on all the photos, as I tried to get them in natural light to show the wear. The Vachetta has patina, but that can also be replaced. Not sure of the cost.

krpassarotti @rmgml Hi, I don’t have it in front of me but it’s maybe a half inch. I don’t know if it would get bigger over time, unless there’s direct pressure on it.
