comfortcreature Now this might be an obvious question but where I live it rains a lot, do you think these would rust or calcify or is there a finishing spray I could put on the casings and metal hardware to protect it? This could be a really stupid question idk lol

enchantedlion Great question actually! There will be no rust. All brass and copper (don't rust) and the eyelets are enamel coated. So possibly the metals could darken patina a bit but unlikely. You COULD use Johnson's paste wax on the metals to be sure, if you wanted them to stay brighter like they are. Or later, if they darkened beyond your liking, you could polish up with a metal polish.
