@indyrecker hello. The liner is sewn to the outer layer from the top to the pockets around hip level. Below the pockets they are separate. The liner/outer layer at the waist seam is 18.75” across when measured lying flat. The area just below the pockets where the liner separates from the outer layer is 31”. I hope this helps!
