This is a very nice Jean Cartier Paris, France Refurbished Clarinet with a new Gator Case. I’ll be very honest with you, this was in an abandoned storage unit that my brother purchased. What I can tell you is that I took it to a very well known music store in Dallas to try to get some information on it. I lucked out and talked to a person who has a Master’s Degree in Clarinet. (Never knew there was such a thing). This is what he wrote down for me: Serial Number: 4165 From the Boosey and Hawkes Era Refurbished and not played since then Brand new tenon cords New felt pads- good condition Incudes metal ligature and mouthpiece Wooded and no cracks in wood Included new Gator satchel style case with strap and lots of storage. (He really wanted a case like this). I can tell you that I paid $80 for the case alone when I got it refurbished. He says that it is perfect for woodwind doublers and jazz musicians. He also said that he had never seen a Jean Cartier Clarinet before. If you ask me questions about the clarinet itself, I probably won’t know the answer, I’m sorry.
