Japan RARE Electric Hand-painted Chalkware Angels 1960’s

Incredibly rare. Made in Japan. Chalkware, porcelain, hand-painted angels. Mouths parted, they appear as if they are singing. Both hold tiny bulbs colored and shaped to appear as a lit candle. The taller angel has pigtails and wears a red robe with a white collar. The little angel has that soft short baby hair and wears a white robe with a red collar. These are in impressive condition for their age, with normal signs of being unpacked, displayed and then packed up again, year after year. Through kids and then grandkids, holiday after holiday. Some wear throughout. Please see pics for condition. This set makes an incredible gift for collectors and will transport you back to a different time. The smaller angel will need a replacement bulb.
