@tmyogagurl the waist is 15 1/2 inches across laying flat. I wear a medium and this is size 8, I feel like it’s true to size. I bought two for wedding events that were days apart, I’m keeping one. The fabric is eyelet/lace is 100% polyester and the lining is 100%cotton
