Then, about 1 1/2 years ago, as I kept getting sicker & sicker with a different problem every few months. My thyroid crashed, I had an attack of congestive heart failure, my skin was erupting in what looked like dime sized pustules.

The final upset was when perfectly healthy teeth began to break off or just crack vertically. I switched to a different rheumatologist, who ran the titers & still kept getting results of positive for scleroderma. At that point, he told me about Sjogrens Disease. He gave me all kinds of folders to read. He said it was possible to have both, because autoimmune diseases are so hard to diagnose..,

If you can share any information on these diseases, I would be so grateful. The latest symptom is a new nightmareโฆ the skin on my scalp becomes itchy & somewhat hardened; almost like a babyโs scalp with โcradle capโ. It lasts about 2 weeks or so. It doesnโt feel dry & the skin does not flake off.
