I live in CA and thought I’d wear these more but no so much 🤪. In great condition but have worn a handful of times! I’m size 6-6.5 but got size 7 and they fit great!

soniahalfner Is this olive green? I had a pair of these - any crackling on the surface yet? I’ve come to accept they only last about 3-4 years but are probably the most stylish Hunter.

briromay @soniahalfner yes they are olive green! I live in Orange County California so I think I’ve worn them maybe 5-8 times so they are in good condition. No cracking.

soniahalfner @briromay they’re a great looking “city” rainboot. Like I said, now they’re made in China they don’t last - Hunter’s gone “fast fashion.” I’m just tossing up whether to get the classic olive green again (yours) or gray this time (goes with more things). The olive green looks fab with classic beige jodphurs for that faux “equestrienne” vibe. (If I were you I’d keep ‘em for a SoCal flash flood given crazy climate change 😉)

briromay @soniahalfner haha they’re just a smidge too big even with big socks which is why I’m willing to let them go. But I do love the color I feel like they’re unique. Keep me posted if you change your mind! ☺️

soniahalfner @briromay I’m looking at your comment saying you’re a “6-6.5 but 7’s fit great” - that’s my foot size too. What you do is buy a pair of Powerstep insoles (try to get the ones marketed to podiatrists, not patient retail ones https://powerstep.com/pages/protech-medical-orthotics) and stick ‘em inside. Viola. I’m pretty sure I’ll have to do same. (The Hunter Refined Gloss size 6 are just a leetle small for me).

soniahalfner @briromay (ps it’s probably better to post a shot of the light shining on the front of the boots vs behind - given Hunter’s recent reviews about surface crackling/crazing 😉)
