I grew up in Virginia so we went to DC a lot, then we moved to Michigan when I was going into 6th grade and I graduated from there and went into the Army. I’ve also been to different places in CA, UT, CO, AZ, OH, MN, TN, Chicago, IL, NYC, NC, GA, PA, MD, FL, OK, and MS. I’ve been all over the US but really want to start traveling abroad more!

marymax999518 @myhauntedheart Wow you have been to many states too! I forgot to add Las Vegas, lol. And Wisconsin along Lake Michigan. :) Just a week there but it was COLD!! I always wanted to visit Virginia to see the historical landmarks. I’ve seen some photos of your state. My oldest brother got his Masters degree from UMichigan. Best to you!

myhauntedheart @marymax999518 My first trip to Hawaii(Kona) was absolutely FANTASTIC! I completely fell in love and I almost cried when we had to leave. My boyfriend and I will be returning to Kona though at the end of February and this time we will be taking his 4 kids, so I’m excited to see more of the big island and show the kids the awesome places we found. We went to see the volcano, went swimming with the manta rays at night, went snorkeling at Captain Cook, and checked out some beautiful beaches!

myhauntedheart @marymax999518 We didn’t get to make it to Hilo side this trip so we’re going to try for next time with the kids as well. We did try some amazing malasadas though, I think I might’ve actually gained some weight from all of the amazing food we ate, even with all of the swimming and hiking we did haha. I hope you’re doing well Mary! My boyfriend thought it was just the coolest when I showed him the pictures, book, and necklace you sent. 🥰❤️

I met a Tahitian medical student and she was a story of success herself and could she dance!! I met so many fascinating people there and never wanted to leave.

marymax999518 @myhauntedheart Aloha! Yes! I used to have malasadas every Saturday morning. Yum! Food in Hawaii is so good except for the Spam in the can, lol. I’m happy that you and your boyfriend had a great vacation and those are some lucky kids going there. It’s one thing to see a photo but breathtaking to see Hawaii in person.
