ghsmermaid I just noticed this "Affirm" thing in a listing today. Leave it to you to already have it posted and ready for questions! Is this an option we sellers can offer to buyers within our listings? If so, how do we do it? Do we get paid up front by Affirm and Affirm assumes the risk of the buyer defaulting? We would have four parties involved, the buyer, the seller, Poshmark and Affirm. I truly want to understand this. I know it's for $50. & over purchases.

ghsmermaid @mlb1006 It's on this listing. Look at the top just under the pic. You should be able to see it....or not maybe bc you're the creator. Anyhow, I researched further and I think it's automatically put on listings that are $50. or more to entice buyers. It appears to be a credit option that Poshmark must have rolled out. I never heard of it until last nght.

parkviewla @mlb1006 Hi Maria! Do you know if US closets can ship to Canada? I had a Canadian comment on one of my listings asking if I ship to Canada? I checked Poshmark FAQ and did not see anything about the subject and emailed support and got the generic response that Posh is currently in the US and Canada.

mlb1006 @earth3003 Hi! What’s worked for me is sharing my closet at least 3 times per day and sharing 5 items from other closets. I also follow new people daily. Go to fresh closets and just joined. Most of my sales come from new people with no listings. Keep active sharing, following and listing and you’ll see results! Come play my Mystery Posher FG to gain followers!

mlb1006 @xoxoklowe Edit sharing means you share the listing by clicking EDIT, NEXT, LIST without doing any changes. The 30 minute method is not that easy to do. I’ve tried it a few times. Sometimes I just try to do a few steps but not necessarily in that order. It’s also not easy to do in 30 minutes. Try it and let me know what you think.

xoxoklowe @mlb1006 Lol I was going crazy looking for another edit button. How is sharing that way differ from using the share button? I’m happy you said it’s not easy to do all of those things in 30 mins. Sometimes it takes me 30 minutes just to make a new listing! I read it & was “WOW, I’m really doing something wrong if she can accomplish all of that in 30.” I’ll give it a whirl & let you know. Thank you for the shares too.

mlb1006 @xoxoklowe Supposedly it puts the listing on top of the feed. But honestly I haven’t notice a difference than regular sharing to followers. This method was put in use a while ago so I’m not 100% sure if it still works. Like I said, if you do some of those steps during the day you should see results.

mlb1006 @flsnowbunny05 To start your own tag list, you need permission to do mass tagging. Start with a listing in your closet for anyone to join. Keep an ongoing list in your Notes so you can copy and paste as need. Let me know if you have any questions. Happy to help you!

Also I have an iPad I am totally illiterate when it comes to cut, paste. I worked for a Dr. for 23 years never used a computer, very old school. We retired when everything went electronic.

mlb1006 @flsnowbunny05 If they’re your close PFFs you can ask them if they want to be tagged in parties, etc. before you do. But if you want to start your own own list for others to join, then a listing is needed. I keep my lists in my iPhone notes. When I tag a party, I just go to the list and copy. Then I comment with a message and then paste my list. Very easy to do.

mlb1006 @time_warpdrobe Hi I dint know anyone personally that does closet consultations. Your closet looks great! Make sure you share your closet at least three times per day. Use offers to likers often. I also like to do a direct share when someone likes an item and I send them a private offer. I also comment in the dressing room. I also follow New People daily, both fresh closets and just joined. Also keep listing consistently and you should start getting more sales!

mlb1006 @tanyrae I personally don’t do share groups or share events. From what I’ve learned, it’s more important to share all your listings at least three times per day. Also being active and listing items consistently will help.

earth3003 @tanyrae I don’t do those. I did a purse share good a long time ago but it didn’t seem to help all that much. My suggestion is share your closet at least once or twice per day, best during parties. Try to share other people’s items when you can. And try to list a new item often (or realist something which doesn’t have likes). I’ve noticed that consistently listing helps for some reason.

WHAT I DID, IS YOU THE STANDARD LABEL THEY SENT TO ME. PUT THE EXTRA WEIGHT INTO ANOTHER BOX, AND SHIPPED 3RD PARTY.. LIKE PIRATE, OR SHIPPO. IT WAS A LOT CHEAPER THEN POST OFFICE OR POSHMARK PRICES. IT WENT PRIORITY, WITH TRACKING WITH THE OTHER BOX. LET BUYER KNOW, AND SEND THE ADDTIONAL TRACKING INFO TO HER. SHE WAS PLEASED.

mahonekk I saw your listing about Poshmark shipping and no more comments are allowed. I just sent a package with a 10lb posh label in a large box but it weighed 10 lb, 15 0z. The usps worker said the cost is the same for the 10 lb label and a 10 lb, 15 0z label. He scanned it and said it will be fine. But now I’m worried that something will go wrong. I don’t want my buyer to get stuck with another cost. Do you know if anyone has been in a similar position? Thank you!

mlb1006 @warnocks That’s strange! I just tested one of my listing now and it worked. In the APP, you hit edit and under shipping discount you hit Free and hit next and list.

mlb1006 @daniellejack744 I’m not sure what you mean. In PhotoRoom you start by clicking on the blue bar that reads “Start from Photo” and it takes you to your photos. The APP has changed since I created my listing but it’s still easy to use.

mlb1006 @daniellejack744 I’m still confused what you mean by your Poshmark photos. My Poshmark photos are in my camera roll. When you are in PhotoRoom you can go to your album and search your photos there.

mlb1006 @daniellejack744 Yes I always use my phone camera with the square option and I have the photos in my camera roll. That’s how you access the photos when using PhotoRoom.

mlb1006 @bridgie313 Yes you can still do bulk sharing. Look at my last slide and follow the arrows for the steps. You need to hit “share to followers” and when you hit “select” you need to scroll down to show the listings you want to bulk share.
