@rn1heart what do i do? Is there a phone # or maybe some kind of lead you may have ? I could do that. Im not afraid of those pokey things anyway. I dont ever even drink anymore... Im guessing there must be some sort of criteria made ? Well, if i can, i will!

@c_noel_ Contact the leukemia society in your area and they will guide you .Some areas hold bone marrow drives in certain areas. It is very simple blood draw and swab..Your doctors office may be able to place you on the register list for Bone Marrow Donors. There are certain guidelines. My son received his bone marrow transplant from a man in Colorado and that saved my son's life thank God.Take care.

@rn1heart I am so happy to hear that. I hope to help/save someone one day as well. My only nephew is battling Leukemia for over 3 years, they still haven't found a matching bone marrow for him yet. His Dad donated his stem cells last week and I am heading out to CA next Sat. to help them out a little while he is in the hospital. It is such a terrible disease :( I hope your Son is doing well today and so so glad he found a matching donor. All the best for him and your families future.

@buksi Thank you and he is a 14 year survivor, thank God.I will pray for your nephew and family .My son had AMLm5a , very aggressive type.He was diagnosed 1999 and received his bone marrow transplant 01/08/2001.He relapsed several times, they harvested his own stem cells and "cleaned" them up and then returned them to try and keep him in remission until a match was found.

@buksi My thoughts and prayers are with your family.I know what they are truly experiencing. That nagging fear is always with you.

@rn1heart Carolyn you are lovely, thank you for that offer...I may take you up on that sometime💖I'm sorry for the struggles your son has faced but I know he's an incredible young man because of it-as hard as this is I wouldn't EVER change it because its brought amazing people and experiences into my life. @mcjayne I will share this with you my son's journey started at the age of 22 with a rare and deadly high grade of Leukemia for his age.It was a very difficult struggle .He truly is a miracle from God in many ways.We both will always be grateful to a generous donor from Colorado. The Doctors gave up Hope for Survival many times.Jonathan never gave up hope or lost his Faith .

@rn1heart he's lucky to still be here my friend, he's truly a miracle. I was diagnosed at 26 while pregnant with my now 18 year old with anaplastic thyroid ca (as you well know not a good thyroid one to get) and after my daughter was delivered early at 30 weeks gestation I started chemo for 4 solid hard years then went into remission...it came back and I was misdiagnosed with lymphoma so now I just keep my fingers crossed & pray a lot but still here and still fighting! 🌹thank you for sharing.

@mcjayne I will pray for you too lets get that prayer chain going.Jonathan received his bone marrow transplant January,2001 at IU Med.Take care
