Gemstones - My Passion & Amazement

This unique rose quartz horse head was carved from a raw stone that contained cracks and mineral inclusions as seen on its face. The quartz forms around these minerals capturing them like a time capsule. Some of these inclusions can be water and even insects. Pretty amazing! REAL gemstones that are immaculately pure are very expensive. These precious stones, because of it's purity, are sought after. However, a new trend in the lapidary profession is to include these earth amazing phenomena.
