3543540ss @darthelephant truthfully I've never opened it & I'm not sure if it pops off or if you need one of those rubber balls to open it. I remember looking it up on the watch forum either watchuseek or the Nawcc they were saying how they had a good 17 jewel movement same as the elgin

3543540ss and asking me to open it isn't annoying I messed up a Pocket Watch Thinking you'd to pry it off I didn't know about the rubber ball they use on some cases I'll see if I can pop it off & I'll post a pic if I can I need to get one of those rubber watch case openers
