Fenton Amethyst Iridescent Mermaid Bucket

This 1971 Fenton glass piece is an ice bucket or planter with a very cool recycled mermaid pattern. There are mermaids in various positions and a few strange looking fish. The color is a dark amethyst with thick glass and very heavy. As with most pressed glass there are the usual mould marks from the glass making process like bubbles, straw marks, swirls, lines. It stands about 6 1/2 inches high and 7 in. across the top
