Was material taken off the sleeves or was it just altered and tucked in to make it shorter?

@hizeldas I’m reposhing this item - the previous owner did alter the sleeves - I posted a few photos of myself in the dress so you can see the sleeves still have volume and are a good size

@leiselyoung thank you for posting more pictures for reference. I would want to alter the sleeves to make them longer for modesty reasons (hit the elbow) do you think it would be a possibility, or is there no material left over and tucked in that could be taken out? Thank you
