virgieb119 I’m interested in the gown for my daughters wedding. Would like to try it on at a local shop here in Dallas before purchasing from you. I can do that tomorrow afternoon and will let you know if this size will work for me. Did you have any alterations made?

hirsch8181 @virgieb119 yes, I had it taken up at the shoulders about 1-1/2 inches. I’m a little short waisted. I did not take in the sides and I had the train in the back cutoff. I did not touch length in the front of the dress. Just let me know if you have any questions when you try it. It was super comfortable and lots of compliments! I tried to not post pictures w other guests at the wedding.

virgieb119 @hirsch8181 appreciate the quick response! I’m usually shorter in the torso than the standard on these gowns. Did you happen to keep the fabric they removed from the length in the back? Thinking of having a wrap made- our daughter’s wedding is in late fall. Not a deal breaker- just curious. I’ll look up the designers measurements tonight too. Fingers crossed!

hirsch8181 @virgieb119 no but it has a wrap that it came with, if you need extra warmth, my dress shop suggested navy fabric on one side with the netting overlay on other side. It would be easy to do.

virgieb119 @hirsch8181 based on the measurements I’m seeing online it looks like it should fit.the question will be the bodice length on me. If I get it and it’s too short is it possible for me to return it? I’ve never had a need to before, so I’m unfamiliar with how it works.
