kapuartstudio thanks! We are who we are, warts and all! I am pretty crippled too, but proud to keep " marching" on. I promise to give him a little of his youth back in the portrait. Seeing the colors really helps. I can tell how special he is by your concern to make him dignified in the painting. What is his age?

kapuartstudio Unfortunately I had started painting the head before you advised me you wanted a full body portrait..but luckily it shouldn't be an issue!If you place the canvas under a mat before framing it (as you told me you plan to do), you simply raise the bottom of the painting up to just under the edge of the mat. His feet will show then:) Again, I thank you and wish both you and Buster happy, healthy days ahead!
