Gucci’s ever-popular Diana handbag, named after Princess Diana who used hers all the time, continues to be produced today. This fine example is larger than the standard Diana and also comes without the lid and divided interior, meaning it can carry a lot. There is a zipped inner pocket that features a double G gold-plated charm and a mustard yellow interior. Stylish and practical, I doubt Gucci’s Diana bags will ever go out of fashion. The condition is very good. There is some light scratching/scuffing here and there commensurate with age. The inner lining is original and free of peeling/flaking that often besets items of this vintage, although it is stained in places. Overall, a charming Gucci that will easily last another forty years.
