THE SEVEN SEAS CROWN Materials: stainedglass, beads, charms, paperflowers, pendants, collage, shells, vintage, flowers, paint, solder, metal About this item I have to say this crown is quite amazing, approximately 8" X6" in circumference . I start with a strong wire circle soldered and then it builds itself up to a concoction of elements and airs very unique. Every piece of glass is individually cut and wrapped with copper and soldered in place , I choose the color according to the theme it becomes, in this case, the magical sea, I used a regular shell in which I made a 3-d collage inside it, then sealed it in with a clear glass top ,and soldered on the front as the main piece. I added all the twists and awesome beads and hand painted some of the soldered metal. I sprinkled my hand made "coral" sticks all around this gorgeous artifact. It has a tone of work in it and I enjoyed every bit of it, it takes me about 3 days from beginning to end and I truly believe it turned out to be one of my best crowns yet. I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures although I wish I could have included all of them, there is a lot not shown.
