Dalton for Joseph Magnin, 1950's cashmere sweater

A cashmere sweater from the 1950s designed by the Ohio-based company Dalton and sold at Joseph Magnin stores. It features a Peter Pan collar, accented by two buttons, three-quarter length sleeves, and a ribbed trim. A size small, the sweater's cream color is decorated with light and dark gray leaves, their edges feathered to create a falling effect. The back of the sweater has a nine-button placket with loops for closure. It belonged to my grandmother and is in exquisite vintage condition.
