Hi. Your description says this is maroon. The picture looks more purple. My daughter liked it because it we thought it was purple. Would you say it’s more purple or maroon?

@charitytb I'm so sorry for the late response! It's definitely a maroon color or a really dark red. I'm sorry that it's not the purple you're looking for!

Does it have water bottle/phone pockets on the exterior of one or both sides? Looks like maybe on one side but I can’t really tell.
