The strap was definitely painted, it's why it was destroyed with dry rot. Coach bags NEVER need paint/polish, just conditioner. But the bag itself doesn't appear to be painted or shoe polished...? Are there any crack on the actual bag - looks worn on the seams, but I don't see cracks...?
